Liquid Jaggery | Kakvi | काकवी राब

𝐊𝐚𝐤𝐯𝐢 is obtained in a step prior to obtaining Jaggery. It is rich in antioxidants, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Phosphorus and Vitamin B6. It is said to relieve constipation, help treat anaemia and support bone and hair health.

It can be eaten with Chapati, Bhakri, Milk, Lassi, Kheer or anything where you would normally have a sweetener. Store it in the fridge as it tends to ferment after some time.

Store in cool and dry place preferably in Fridge.

Note:

Many times, if Naturally prepared Black strap molasses (Kakvi) is unused for a long time / due to a humid climate, there is fungus growth. Do not throw away this liquid, as it acts as Gold for your soil/plants’ health.

If it has fungus, mix it with water and let it dissolve completely. Now, add this mixture to your house plants soil/society trees soil. This mixture attracts various insects thereby increasing microbial activity and improving the health of plants & trees.
