Bay Leaves | Cassia leaf | Tej patta – तेज पत्ता
Bay Leaf or Cassia leaf locally known as Tej patta.
Our Tej patta comes from Sarkhot Farm, Kambe as well as from our natural farmer of Karjat. It is an aromatic leaf rich in antioxidants.
No chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, artificial aroma or anything by any name is added in our natural farming except homemade preparations made from Desi cow dung and Goumutra.
No artificial fragrance is used on our bay leaf and it releases aroma when cooked / heated. Bay leaf is also a natural preservative and so can be added to food grains. Additionally, you can add a leaf while cooking rice / millet to enhance its taste as well as increase its shelf life.
At Sarkhot house, we add it in evening Dhoop as it acts as a natural mosquito & pest repellant.
