Overview

Barley also known as जव in marathi & जौ in hindi is a superfood. It is diabetic friendly and also helps with fat loss goals.

Our barley is naturally grown, without the use of any chemicals or pesticides. Only Desi cow dung is used in cultivating barley.

How to use?

  1. Wash and soak overnight before cooking.
  2. Barley rice – Add 2 cuops water to 1 cup soaked barley. Cook till soft. Have it with curry/ sabji (in place of rice)
  3. Barley Upma-  Follow all steps of Upma and in place of adding sooji, add cooked barley rice.
  4.  Barley water – While preparing barley rice, add extra water and once the rice is sticky, drain the water. Add lemon juice and have this water as it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMsDtoRx8d0
  5. Khicdi – Replace rice with barley and make barley khicdi.
  6. Barley roti – Use barley flour to make roti and use in place of regular wheat roti.
