Red Instant Poha | Thin poha | Red Nylon Poha – लाल पातळ पोहे

Red Thin Poha or Nylon Poha is an instant Poha variety.

Red rice is beaten swiftly to make the thin variety. It needs minimal cooking and infact can be had raw by just light sprinkle of water / light roasting.

One can make quick chivda (namkeen) or Dadpe poha. Dadpe Poha is Kanda poha, where the onion and poha are used raw. Roasted groundnuts and a tadka of curry leaves and mustard seeds is added on top and the poha is mixed with hands (dadap), hence the name dadpe pohe.
